2. LeonardoAI (super underrated and has a generous free plan)
3. Dall.E (built by the same company behind ChatGPT and this is the best tool at the moment for generating images with text in them)

Now, these are the 3 best ways you should use AI images in 2024.

Graphic Design Mockups

The mockup images for a random Chai Masala brand were created in just 30 seconds. Without AI this would’ve been hours in Photoshop (if I knew how to do this in Photoshop). Imagine if you’re working on a new product and you can whip up new graphics without hiring a graphic designer. You can tweak the prompts to refine the photos even further.

Even if the images aren’t perfect, just look at how quickly you’re able to brainstorm and iterate through creative concepts.

If you’re a marketing agency/designer worrying about job security, listen up! You can use this to your advantage as well. Most people don’t know how to do this or have the time to figure it out. You can literally offer this as a service to your clients.

Stock Photos

If you’re working on blogs, creating a website, social media graphics or any digital asset really, you can just use AI to create the stock photos. Exactly how you envision it.

You don’t have to search for photos on stock photo websites or hire a professional photographer. Just explain what you want in the photo and baam AI will generate the photo for you.

Product Photos

Product photography is extremely expensive. You have to hire a photographer, set up the scene and let them do their craft. But with AI, you can create tons of scenes instantly. Makes it super easy to brainstorm ideas and visualize the results.

Now you can use AI images to create the scenes and the add your product photos to the scene using Canva or photoshop 

Pro tip: Think about the last Amazon product you searched for. How good were the images? 

Most of the products on Amazon are long over due for a photoshoot.

If you’re looking for a new gig in 2024, I’d recommend reaching out to those products and offer a service to upgrade their product photos.

  1. Zapier AI - Zapier has been at the forefront of the AI revolution. They were the first major tech company to integrate with openAI. Basically, you can use Zapier to automate half your work. You can use their AI builder to build your automations. Making your first Zapier and seeing the magic of automation is just a slippery slope to getting obsessed with automations. So consider being warned.

  2. Dall E - As I mentioned earlier, Dall E is one of the best tools to generate images from a text prompt. Just give it a shot, there’s a ton of free credits every month

  3. Perplexity - This is one of my most used AI tool after ChatGPT. Think about it as ChatGPT but with Google Search. When you ask a question, it provides sources it used to come up with the answer. Super useful for research.

  4. Recraft - I came across this in November 2023 and has been one of my favorites since. This is an AI tool to generate icons and logos in vector form. Best part: it is completely free (at least for now). I used this tool to create logo for one of my recently launched startup.

  5. ElevenLabs - One of the best apps for AI voices. You can use this tool to train your voice. So, just type the script and it will create a voice over with your voice and speaking style. You can also use this to turn your voice over into multiple languages.
