Google Updates Privacy Policy To Collect Public Data For AI Training

Getting your hands on user data has been the new gold rush for a while now, but it is more relevant today than it has ever been.

Over the weekend, Google updated itโ€™s privacy policy to get more out of the data gold rush. The new and updated policy allows it to scrape public data to improve itโ€™s AI models.

โ€œGoogle uses information to improve our services and to develop new products, features, and technologies that benefit our users and the public. For example, we use publicly available information to help train Googleโ€™s AI models and build products and features like Google Translate, Bard, and Cloud AI capabilities.โ€
